VanAmstel Claims Bratish Victory

With this trophy being one of the most sought after in our chapter, every medio was gunning to place this on their trophy shelf. When the dust settled, it was Adam VanAmstel winning by a narrow margin. Although Adam wasn't able to snag any other mediocre award, he more more than happy with the claret juggs!! We will see if he can repeat the win next month at the FORE, I won't let you forget you are playing a tee box back.

On to the other awards: Sweet Chuck kept it between the rough and got the Long Drive. Great shot brother!!  Mr. Steve Majors was dialed in and dropped one in close for the Closest award. I guess a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then. My brother from another mother, Jaque laid down the most Mediocre round of the day. It's an "M" brother, not a "W", turn it over. Rich Shudick ended melting down like Chernobyl. Better luck next time brother. Gross award went to Mike Sheffield shooting a rather impressive 81, them penalty strokes are a killer though my man. Rounding out the awards with the Red Key, a medio that really needs no introduction!!!! T.J. Nee, in his first event since 2019 season, shot a ..........well let's just say it rhymes with 151. Moving up a tee box at the next event brother!!!I

With the Regionals being cancelled and everyone still wanting to golf, I will see you all August 8th at our first "hopefully annual" Open Busch Invitaional at Juday Creek Golf Course in Granger, IN
