Trampled by Turtles

Nicky Stacks is back in the winners circle at the Aiken MGA Fore Championship.  Portland's very own home town hero, made famous from his viral news clip from Water Front park takes home the big check.  He is now on the MGA tour chasing birdies, but his love of turtles has never faded.  Nicky Stacks can been seen rescuing turtles from roads in even the most dire situations.  Interstate, frontage roads, busy cross town traffic, it matters not to this hero of the half-shells.  He encourages all that want to donate to his foundation to please visit No Turtle Left Behind

Much of the chapter is still in shock that Adam "Bomb" Bates did not take home a fourth trophy in a row coming in 3rd.  He did manage to slip shamelessly into the photo of the winning check. Has this guy ever met a camera he doesn't like?

MGA tour rookie Stephen Sowards earned the longest drive award and the meltdown award with an "impressive" 16 shot swing on the back 9.

Teddy type-bracket bracket earned the Mediocre award with no threat of the red key.  That honor goes to Kiefer Tindall much to the delight of his cousin Jason Tindall.

****A huge special shoutout goes to the Charleston MGA chapter members below. These four honored guests traveled serval hours to join us despite the pending doom that the weather map was showing us to partake in our event.****

Charleston Chapter Leader Daniel Peters, Zach and Courtney Sloman, and Mathew "aint no way your getting my hat" Lee ( I see you 81).

No this is not copy and paste error, Chapter leader Jeremy Wilson finishes second for the 4th time this year and earned a closest to the pin sticker. What a choke artist ehh?
