On Saturday, April 23rd, 25 players came together in Baraboo to battle it out with each other and the wind for the dual-headed trophies. In the end, Micah Latty and newcomer Rick Allison claimed them with a combined score of 190, although Rick apparently had better things to do and didn't stick around for the trophy ceremony. Rookie mistake.
In addition to the one-half of the trophies, Micah also walked away with the big check, narrowly beating out Mike, Nell, and Austin. It really came down to the wire! Other winners on the day were Jim Lukken (Most Mediocre), Max Wasserman (Meltdown, 5 strokes), Sam Zagone (Long Drive), Nell Lapres (Closest to the Pin, though we won't talk about how it got there), James Hickman (Gross Award, and the DQ with a casual 78 with an 8 on 18), and Robert Tressler (Key to the Red Tees).
Overall, it was a fantastic day and a strong start to our 2022 season!
Our next tournament is The Bastards on May 21st at Meadows of Six Mile Creek. Hope to see everyone there!
