Knoxville MGA played their DBI at Dandridge Golf Course. Again, with the majors over, now it is a fight for the Money Trophy and positioning yourself money wise for Worlds.
Bill Hickman won the Red Key from the tournament before, so his buddy riding with him decided to take notes. 1st hole his drive he could've used a pitching wedge. He shot a 10 on the 1st(from the Red Tees) 2nd hole bogeyed (from the Red Tees) 3rd Double Bogey(from the Red Tees) 4th hole Bogeyed(from the Red Tees) I think you all get the gist of it! CTP was won by a guy who loves the Raiders, LD was won by newcomer Taylor Bingham but neither didn't finish it off for a birdie to win the Jackpot money. Long Putt was won by John Henley, which was about five feet. The Hole in 2 Challenge was HIT!!!! Jason Bowers hit his tee shot off to the left and left himself a tough down hill left to right breaker, but put it in the bottom of the cup to win the money that had been carried over since the end of last season.
Justin Paull has been a bridesmaid at a few tournaments now, losing twice in a playoff and coming up short and a few others. He was sitting at number 14 on our chpater money list and needed to make his way up as he is headed out to Worlds. Well, he doesn't have to worry about that anymore! JP came in with a Gross score of 84 and 89 overall making him the winner of the tournament! Big Win and Congrats!
