Freislinger wins Last Gasp

With the last tournament of the year there was a four way tie for the lead and waiting on the last couple of scorecards to come in we were getting ready for a putt off when Gary Freislingers card is turned in and he beat us all by one stroke. In his second tournament Gary shoots an 87 to win his first event. The weather was perfect the course was in great shape and the greens were slooooooow but it seemed the excitement of the day was at the John Daly Hole. With a mystery grab bag of 16oz 8% Steel Reserve, Steel Reserve Blue Raz, Steel Reserve Blk Berry, Mickeys Big Mouth, and Miller High Life the blind draw was not a good one to say the very least. After shot gunning and trying to keep down the Daly beers Kristoffer Burgess manages to win Long Drive, Erik Angelo sticks it close for Closest to the Pin, Scott Stafford has the biggest meltdown, Derek Williams was Most Mediocre and Raul Garcia wins the Red Key with a 121. Noone won the Jackpot today so it will carry over to the next event. It was a great event and an even better year. Thank you all for an epic year I'm looking forward to bigger and better things in the future. Next up is Worlds in Las Vegas where West Valley Az is going to kick some ass!!

Until next year...
