This is Drews' League

He came. We all saw. Mike Drews put the Pleasanton MGA on notice. This is his league to lose. With a ho-hum, birdie free 83. Only one double bogey and  mixture of MGA pars and MGA birdies. He vanquished less mediocre golfers to stumble to a minor result of fame only he will remember. While MIke will be playing from the blue tees at The Bridges, Bill Bailey earned the key to red tees. Bill scrapped together a very competitive 129 (64/65 very consistent). Bill was quoted as saying, 'I played very well, I think I shot like 120'. No Bill you did not, but you were excited and had fun and that makes me excited about it too!

Staying in the middle  and most mediocre is Ian 'are you afraid of the' Clark. While we wonder what is the Clark? We won't question your medocrity with this finish. Brad Byrns smoked a drive on hole 7 to take the longest drive earning another Fireball, while Bob Rossi was playing lawn darts with the green on #16 to knock it withini 3'11'' to take closest to the pin. All together it was a grat day in Napa at Chardonnay Golf with perfect weather in the low 70s and a great course. Thanks to everyone who came out and struggled to medocrity. Till June 14th at The Bridges in San Ramon.

P.S. I heard that this is J.J. Minioza's home course. Any questions about how to get more drinks and why your ball is lost please ask J.J.

great article. even though I wrote.

bill bailey was so enamored with his round he left his car back wide open for all the world to see how fucking awesome his clubs are. Bob L and Larry M showed up in Knoxville chapter shirts proving 2 things, the MGA is a brother and sisterhood and Pleasanton chapter is cheap and mediocre.

Some of the shit we saw in Billy Baileys car was creepy AF......We might wanna consider an intervention. On another note: I wonder how well Billy can throw axes?

we didn't know whips, chains, ropes, trojan 12" and above rubbers, blow up dolls of all sorts and chlorophyll were standard golf equipment. But hey you can't judge those in MGA.
