Well the Douchebag invitational 2023 is officially in the books. There was a change of venue and instead of playing at Madera we played at Valley Oaks in Visalia California. It was an absolutely gorgeous morning to be out on the golf course and the golf course proved to be in great shape and a challenge to each and every player.
I know it's going to be hard for some of you to believe but the closest to the PIN was not determined until a second par three was chosen due to the fact that no one hit the first par three. However yours truly the All Mighty Commissioner a rose victorious. The longest drive was won by the ever so young Garrett Pack who also took the meltdown award with a 42 front 52 back. The most mediocre golfer was Neil and low and behold the gross award went to Michael Todd with a gross of 88 and a net of 90. Michael also won the tournament with the score of 90. And a whopping big check.
We welcomed two new players to our group, Patrick and Daniel. It is thought that one of them may be a Korn Ferry reject based on his playing abilities and final score.
A great time was had by all. The last tournament of the season is in Fresno at Airways. Register early to assure you have a spot. Until then swing hard and look up. The AMC has spoken.
