While not overwhelming, red, white and blue still ruled the day at the Freedom & Unity Open at Lexington Oaks on June 11th.
After a kinda slow start to 2022, Mike Robin came on strong to win this tournament and win the Kinda Long Drive, Kinda Close and Gross award (83). This win was enough to propel Mike to the top of the Chapter Money List.
Other awards went to:
Sal Gennusa won the Most Mediocre award with a middle-of-the-pack 104.
Don Nogiewich with an astounding 38/55 took the Meltdown award (dishonorable mention to Greg Bobrowski who shot 46/61).
John Grochowicz added another red key to his key chain, winning the Key to the Red Tee by a mile with a 123.
Wayne Eidson won another Stepped in Shit award with a net 71 (and is getting closer and closer to earning himself some MGA penalty strokes).
Dave Smith won the Played Like Shit award with a net 89.
Zach Shelburne also won a Gross award with an 83.
And congratulations to Troy Englund with a malbatross 3 on the par 5 sixth hole.
