2024 Season Opens for the Central Coast 805 Chapter

The Central Coast "805: 2024 Season opened yesterday with the Rebel Am-Am and Bill White, with a 81 gross, 86 net,  takes the title.  His partner, Arturo Santiago, shares the infamous two headed trophy with Bill.

It was a chilly day at the Paso Robles GC.  Rain was light and off and on.  Temperatures would drop to lower 50s and when the sun came out, jump to the mid 60s.   20 members with a few guests braved the elements.  New member, Kaleb Goodman, posted a 102 to take 16th.  Pat Stanhope started the year with a 100 for 15th.  Austin Wallingford shot a 99 to take 14th.  Pete Sotello takes 13th with a 98.  Dan Butz posted 94 net-(88 gross) for 11th.  Marc Rodriguez shot a 93(85)along with John Pilling good enough to share 9th. There was a 5 way tie for 4th place.  Brain Sonniksen, Gene Hicks, Mike Goodman, Mike Moreno & Troy Miller all had 92 net.  Arturo Santiago had a 91 to take 3rd.  Newcomer John Hansen posted a 90 net to take 2nd.  Bill White fired a 81 gross, 86 net to easily take 1st place. 

Bill White score low gross.  John Pilling had the Meltdown with 13!! difference.  Troy Miller took the reverse Meltdown with a 6.  Troy Miller also took the Longest Putt on 18.  New member Justin Ennes scored the longest drive, Gene Hicks scored the CTTP.  Pete Sotello was Most Medicore.  The Red Key was a tie with Ken Johnston and new member Lance Lessard, scoring 116. Best dressed team was taken by Mike Moreno and John Pilling.

We play the Bastards on the 27th of April where we make our return at Avila Beach GC.  Brian Sonniksen is our defending champion.  See you there.
