2023 Rebel Beach Am Am results are in

The 2023 Rebel Beach Am Am results are in and what a surprise finish we had.

Well today I played golf with 8 other men that I tip my hat to. Even though it rained practically the entire time that we were on the course, they all pressed forward and finish their round of golf. There was a tournament that was supposed to be directly behind us with 60 players but they all cancelled except for 4 of them.

Today's golf was a challenge to say the least but when it was all said and done and the smoked (rain) cleared we had clear winners. New member and upcoming MGA superstar, Marco Alcala, took home the coveted Red Key award for the highest score. We all thank you for that and we look forward to you doing it as often as you like throughout the year.

Most mediocre player was J.J. Brandsen and the biggest meltdown goes to Harley Taylor, although in his defense he actually improved on the back nine, but just not as much as the rest of us. Taking home the longest drive was the young Ronnie Pack out driving the closest competitor by at least 100 yards. Closet to the pin was a tie between the young Ronnie Pack and Kevin Schwinn which was determined by a side bet and putt off with Kevin emerging victorious. The low gross award went to the young Ronnie Pack. There was a lot of chatter over him not shooting a disqualifying score leading some to believe that he may have lost his mojo.

The big winners for the Am/Am portion of the tournament was the Young Ronnie Pack and the even younger Garrett Pack. Because Ronnie didn't have a partner for the team, since his partner had to cancel, he was allowed to do a blind draw for his partner after the round. Again there was a lot of chatter over how this was orchestrated but the AMC made a command decision.

And finally the big money winner of the day was my team partner, Kevin Schwinn with a net score of 92.

Congrats to all the winners and see you next month in Visalia. The AMC has spoken.
